PROBLEM OF PERSONIFICATION OF DEVELOPMENT OF FOREIGN EDUCATION AND PEDAGOGICAL THOUGHT: EXPERIENCE OF UKRAINIAN PEDAGOGICAL COMPARTIVISTICS

Abstract

The article deals with the historiographical analysis of studies that personify the development of foreign education and pedagogical thought in the context of the development of Ukrainian pedagogical biographistics. On the basis of consideration of generalization of works, the scientific and educational-methodical literature, dissertations on the history of the development of foreign pedagogy, philosophy of education, the philosophical and pedagogical thought in the countries of Europe and the USA during the days of Antiquity, the Middle Ages, New and Modern times, the main tendencies, achievements and gaps of this scientific experience are distinguished. It is shown the interdisciplinary nature of research on the identified issues, which are implemented in the fields of history of pedagogy, pedagogical comparativistics, pedagogical biographistics, philosophy of education and on the intersection of these and other branches of knowledge.
