PROBLEMS OF INTERPRETATION FROM GERMAN INTO UKRAINIAN. SEMANTIC ASPECTS

Abstract

This article deals with the translation process, namely the semantic translation problems, analyzes the classification of translation methods and their place in the translation system. The focus of the article is the analysis of the semantic transformations used in the translation. The methods used in analyzing the translation, consecutive and simultaneous interpretation as two types of interpretation of political speeches were identified, as well as their advantages and disadvantages in translating conference proceedings. Translation solutions are the most appropriate tools that allow an interpreter to quickly and purposefully develop certain knowledge about the facts and their forms of implementation in the communication. One of the psycholinguistic concepts is that the translation process itself can be represented as the interaction of linguistic reflexes and methodological reflections. It was proved that only some of the theoretically mentioned methods are used in the translation. The reason is that the translator usually chooses the easiest method of translation, which allows you to make the most accurate translation without much time. The analysis of semantic methods indicates a relative reduction in existing options for translation. This feature can be regarded as a regularity, and it is caused both by the difference in the semantic system of the German and Ukrainian languages, as well as by the general tendency to reduce the incoming information in the translation. Unlike translation, which allows writing to overcome long distances in time and space, interpretation in principle serves to facilitate communication between different cultures. The article analyzes the body of interpretation, its structure and features. Therefore, the new in the article is that: аn analysis is offered before the interpretation; the main principles of the choice of the method of transfer and their influence on the situation and the actual translation process are considered; the dependence of the translator on the choice of sociocultural aspects of the outgoing text is proved; contrasted versions of translation and analyzed their advantages and disadvantages.
