PROFESSIONAL SKILLS OF PROSPECTIVE ECONOMISTS TO PERFORM IN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ACTIVITIES SUCCESSFULLY BY MEANS OF THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract

Professional compatibility of prospective economist to international activities is directly connected with communication in English) speaking business environment. The skills communicate in professionally) oriented foreign environment which are a part of operative component of compatibility of future specialists of economic profile to conduct international business activities by means of the foreign language. But the formation of the component of compatibility to conduct international business activities has not been considered at sufficient level. However, skills take a considerable part in professional training of specialists of economic specialties. Business communication implies the complex of skills: to apply obtained knowledge in professional activities with an optimal benefit and priority and to apply the main competences which are typical for international economy industry; to communicate with foreign business partners professionaly, namely: to understand position of interlocutor, put himself in his place, to talk to him on his rules to reach the set goals; to estimate critically the speech and business behavior from the point of view of appropriateness and expediency, in accordance with the situation of communication; to establish and keep trustful contact with the interlocutor, to create the atmosphere of efficiency, understanding; to achieve the goals effectively; to foresee and prevent conflict situations of intercultural origin. The skills of conducting international professional activities were defined and they include skills: to use international economic terminology; to keep track of business orrespondence; to apply innovative information technologies in professional economic activities; to conduct business negotiations, to take part in conferences, teleconferences and meetings, to make presentations.
