PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF HIGHER EDUCATION APPLICANTS IN ENGINEERING SPECIALTIES IN THE CONDITIONS OF INFORMATION AND EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT ON THE BASIS OF COMPETENCE APPROACH

Abstract
The article considers the peculiarities of the competence approach application in the professional training of higher education applicants in engineering specialties in the conditions of information and educational environment. There are analyzed the concept of competency, competencies and the characteristic features of the competence approach. It is considered general and professional competences of higher education applicants of specialties 141 “Electric power, electrical engineering and electromechanics” and 208 “Agroengineering” according to the current standards. There are presented the stages of using the competence approach for preparation the higher education applicants of engineering specialties in the conditions of the informational and educational environment, such as: formation of curricula, competence coding and development of a repository of competencies. It is proposed the methods of coding general and professional competencies for higher education applicants of engineering specialties in the conditions of informational and educational environment. There are represented the tools for preparation of higher education applicants of engineering specialties in the conditions of informational and educational environment.
