PROTOCOL FOR ASSESSMENT OF PERSISTENT NEUROLOGIC IMPAIRMENTS AFTER MODELING FOCAL CEREBRAL ISCHEMIA IN EXPERIMENT ON RATS
Journal Title: Ukrainian Scientific Medical Youth Journal / Український Науково-Медичний Молодіжний Журнал - Year 2013, Vol 71, Issue 1
Abstract
The suggested protocol of neurological testing allows for reliable and accurate long-term quantitative assessment of persistent functional impairments in rats with focal cerebral ischemia and requires no special expensive equipment. This protocol may be used for experimental research of restorative treatment for ischemic stroke.
