Psychological-Pedagogical Diagnostics of the Formation of Gender Relations in Children Aged 5-6

Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of gender education of the younger generation, in particular, the formation of gender relations. On the basis of theoretical analysis the authors argue that the problem of forming gender relations in children aged 5-6 has not been sufficiently studied and requires closer investigation. The article highlights organizational-pedagogical conditions which underlie the formation of gender relations in 5-6 year-olds. The authors have developed and tested their own diagnostic method, identifying criteria for the formation of gender relations in children aged 5-6 (cognitive, emotional-sensory and behavioral) and indicators for each of them. Results of psychological and pedagogical diagnostics for differentiating different levels of the development of gender relations in 5-6-year-olds indicate that the formation of gender relations manifests itself at sufficient, satisfactory and low levels. The authors demonstrate the need to develop and test the method of forming gender relations.
