Abstract
The predictions about future market demands emphasizes the increased motivation which leads to innovation. Such activity results in persistence on the market and its continuous functioning. The economic situation forces one to introduce changes not only in economic organisations, but also in public ones. The conditions that must be fulfilled by public organisations in order to introduce innovation calls for pro-innovative economical strategy. The constraints imposed on budget funds cause unavoidable changes to the system of financing public commitments or in other spheres like infrastructure. The public–private partnership as a long–term cooperation between economic organisations and public ones is an example of innovative management. The innovation is based on the holistic interaction between the public and private sector, whilst still being dependent on field conditions. While at the same time, assembling the funds and introducing new services and products on the market. However, one must remember that such innovative activity is risk–laden.
