Abstract
In the article, on the basis of new documents from the Central State Archive of Public Associations of Ukraine, was made an attempt to take a fresh look at the Treaty between the USSR and the Czechoslovakia on Transcarpathia of June 29, 1945, which radically changed the fate of the land. The article indicates the Czechoslovak administration's attempt to reinstate its governing bodies in Transcarpathian Ukraine in the autumn of 1944, the vicissitudes of the Soviet-Czechoslovak talks, the signing and modern assessment of the Soviet-Czechoslovak Treaty on Transcarpathia.
