Rapeseed price linkages between Polish and international market
Journal Title: Rośliny Oleiste - Oilseed Crops - Year 2012, Vol 33, Issue 1
Abstract
The objective of this paper is to investigate price transmission in rapeseed market. The data set contained data on monthly rapeseed prices in Canada, Hamburg and Poland between 2004 and 2012. The study has used cointegration approach and VAR model. The results indicated that all markets are integrated in the long run and in the short run, and the central rapeseed market was Canadian market. Speed and direction of price transmission predominantly depends on the size and structure of the markets, not on GMO market regulation.

Competition between plants from adjacent plots in field trial with winter oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.). 1. Effects of plant competition and variability of soil fertility inside the block
Precision of the seed yield estimation decreases with increasing number of objects in the field trial. But for breeding purposes it is necessary to evaluate many new strains. Papadakis in 1937 suggested the possibility o...
