RECREATIONAL EVENTS FOR THE PRE-SCHOOLERS ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE JELENIA GÓRA OFFER

Abstract
This article presents the state of recreational-event offer for pre-school children at the example of Jelenia Góra. Theoretical introduction precedes an attempt of the estimatio of recreation and event concerning the youngest target group. A definition of this group through its needs and specificity of functioning in recreation is also provided. Presented as next is the potential existing at the local market consisting of tourist infrastructure necessary to realizing the recreational events such as playrooms or playgrounds as well as professionals preparing offer for children. The following part of the article answers research questions about the parental preferences concerning professional offer for children and examination of the potential clients’ familiarity with Jelenia Góra offer for children and finally the utilization of existing potential. All answers were obtained through a survey and the research question answers’ analyze the cues from of the most interested group i.e. parents of pre-school children inhabiting Jelenia Góra. All that was supplemented with an analysis of information obtained from an interview with a representative of the market. The perspective of both sides – a client and an offerer – gives full view of the functioning of recreational-event offer and allows drawing conclusions concerning its future functioning.<br/><br/>
