REGARDING THE MAJOR MISTAKES OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS DURING PRE-TRIAL INVESTIGATION

Abstract
The crime investigation is a complex cognitive process that requires the investigator considerable intellectual, organizational, volitional efforts. It should also be noted that the investigator’s activities are carried out in a short time, in the absence of information, the counteraction of investigation. These factors adversely affect the quality of pre-trial investigation and generate various mistakes. They are inevitable during the investigation of criminal cases. And it would be naive to rely on their complete elimination. It should be noted that in the practice of law enforcement not only investigators are allowed, but also bodies of pre-trial investigation, prosecutors, judges. However, mistakes in investigative activities are most prevalent during the pre-trial investigation.
