RESEARCH ON RAIL VEHICLE BRAKE INSERT WEAR
Journal Title: Tribologia - Year 2010, Vol 233, Issue 5
Abstract
The problem discussed in the paper is rail vehicle brake shoe insert wear. The research results are a basis for the assessment of type and intensity of the wear of brake insert material. The paper includes some results of laboratory, test stand and operation tests. Based on the test results, the wear of the brake insert from certain materials has been assessed. Wear intensity determined insert life. Braking distance values give a basis for implementing, in operation, brake inserts made from certain materials.

W opracowaniu przedstawiono zagadnienie wspomagania doboru optymalnej klasy lepkościowej oleju smarującego do walcowej przekładni zębatej poprzez zastosowanie analizy drganiowej. Dla pracującej w elektrociepłowni w układ...
CHANGES IN THE CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF A STEEL SURFACE DURING FRICTION
The primary objective of this work was to investigate the chemical composition of the sliding surfaces during tribological tests with the participation of lubricants based on mineral oil SAE 30/95 and selected AW/EP addi...
THE INFLUENCE OF TRIBOTESTER AND FRICTION PROCESS PARAMETERS ON WEAR SCATTER
Wear values obtained from different tribological experiments for the same materials and process parameters can vary significantly. The influence of friction process parameters on reproducibility and comparability of wear...
THE TRIBOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE POLYMER COMPOSITION IN THE RECIPROCATING MOTION IN THE PRESENCE OF ABRASIVE MATERIALS
The article presents the results of the studies of resistance to abrasive wear of regenerative chemically curable a metal–polymer composite. The metal–polymer composite is used for the regeneration of guide systems of cu...
