Restitution in the civil law of the states of the english-american legal system

Abstract
In the article researched the place of restitution in the law of the countries of the Anglo-American legal system. The author analyzes the origins of the emergence of restitution, the scope of its application, which include not only civil law, but also intellectual property, tort law, maritime and criminal law. Particular attention is paid to the definition of the ratio of restitution and provisions of unjust enrichment, which was done by the author on the example of the consequences of invalidity of transactions. The author also provides a distinction of restitution and related concepts, primarily compensation and rescission was also carried out. The work uses both legal doctrine and judicial practice.
