ROLE OF THE INDEPENDENCE OF THE JUDICIARY IN THE MECHANISM OF CHECKS AND BALANCES

Abstract
The article is devoted to the definition of the essence and content of the judiciary in the mechanism of checks and balances. On the basis of the analysis of contemporary scientific works on this subject, an author on the example of the UK court system tried to substantiate the expediency of separating legal proceedings from other state bodies.
