Abstract
The article deals with peculiarities of professional training for future military diplomats. Approaches to possible solution of finding ways to successfully prepare future military diplomats for their future professional activities are highlighted. The priority of teaching English for specific purposes for future military diplomats is highlighted as an essential tool for ensuring successful professional intercultural interaction in which representatives of different cultures participate. Developing sociocultural competence as integral part of English for specific purposes for military diplomats is considered. Importance of English language training and immersion into culture of other nations for future military diplomats is analyzed.
