SCIENTIFIC RATIONALE FOR MEDICAL REHABILITATION SYSTEM FOR THE PRIMARY OPEN-ANGLE GLAUCOMA PATIENTS

Abstract
The expediency of integration of medical rehabilitation for the primary open-angle glaucoma patients throughout the stages of medical aid organization is being presented in the article. Its purpose, objectives and methods are being defined alongside with setting the cohorts of patients and substantiating the rational selection criteria for rehabilitation in ambulatory-clinical and recreational environment, that include medical (somatic and ophthalmological), economic, social and psychological aspects of the patient.
