Selection function of South African Education System in Apartheid Period (1948-1994)

Abstract
Summary The article is devoted to the discussion of educational selection in South African apartheid system of education (1948-1994). The selection function of education is deeply considered with the special attention paid to the racial inequality and discrimination in South African society. Article includes the consideration of social closure and structural segmentation in education subsystems for different racial groups in apartheid education. <br/><br/>
