Journal Title: Науковий вісник Південноукраїнського національного педагогічного університету імені К. Д. Ушинського - Year 2016, Vol 111, Issue 4
Abstract
The problem of the quality improvement of higher professional education is one of today’s most topical issues Pedagogy deals with. The education quality is determined by the state and resultativeness of the educational process of teaching, its correspondence with the needs of society; it presupposes a social component which includes the formation of an intellectual personality who has a positive motivation for self-development and self-improvement, which increases essentially the significance of the formation of the professional self-organization in the process of students/ professional training at an institution of higher education. The issues of self-organization formation are considered in a wide context of optimization of the whole system of professional and educational activity. Self-organization allows the strengthening of the process aimed at forming future teacher’s personality as a subject of his / her own development. The problem of professional self-organization of the future teachers of Physical Culture which is associated with their readiness to fulfil various professional pedagogical functions – the result of the professional training targeted to the students of the Physical Education Departments ‒ is revealed. The process of specialist’s training is considered in close connection with the contents of his / her activity. The analysis of the professional activity of the teacher of Physical Culture facilitates a targeted search of the mechanisms of its formation. In the designated context the teaching / learning process which is to be conducted with the help of specially directed organization of students’ own work is considered to be the analogue of the teacher’s future pedagogical activities. The essence of this construct is revealed by means of these personality determinants: awareness of the social significance of the teacher’s profession, the presence of values and ideals for their further development and improvement, striving for self-education, the proper level of professional pedagogical competencies, the ability to reflect (reflection ability). The main pedagogical conditions for the formation of professional self-organization of the future teachers of Physical Culture are the starting regulations which facilitate the efficient organization of the students’ self-guided work.
