Senses and political uses of the inter- disciplinary dialogue in the social sciences in the democratic Argentina

Journal Title: Revista de Estudios Marítimos y Sociales - Year 2009, Vol 2, Issue 2

Abstract

The article proposes a reflection centred in the relations between social disciplines on the study of three subjects investigated in the Argentina of last the twenty-fve years: the State, state agencies and offcers; the policy and the peronism; and the higher education. It also indicates that the persistent affrmation of borders between social disciplines is updated in the intellectual dialogues that we carried out with authors, texts, theories and canonical methods of each discipline; in the curricula, in the research agendas and the academic events, as well as in the confguration of leaderships and expressive lineages of traditions and academic groups. Not denying the theoretical and methodological benefts that this type of discipline production brings, the article tries to promote a favourable political vocation to the construction of research agendas, institutions, programs and academic events opened to the interchange among disciplines.
