SIMULATION OF WORM-LIKE MACHINE
Journal Title: Strojnicky casopis - Journal of Mechanical Engineering - Year 2018, Vol 68, Issue 2
Abstract
The paper deals with bristled in-pipe machine simulation. Simulation model is developed and experimentally identified properties are added into the model to achieve high coincidence of the model with real machine. Simulation gives the answers to some selected problems.

Modeling of Coolant Flow Within the Spent Fuel Storage Pool of a VVER 440 Reactor
The article deals with modelling of coolant flow within the spent fuel storage pool of a VVER 440 reactor. The spent fuel storage pool is modelled in a state of standard reactor operation. The coolant heating from the...
Buckling Analysis of Hetero-Junction Carbon Nanotubes
The buckling analysis of carbon nanotubes without and with hetero-junctions is described in this paper. The buckling behaviour was investigated by the finite element method and the carbon nanotubes were modelled as spa...
Methods of Testing of Sound Insulation Properties of Barriers Intended for High Frequency Noise and Ultrasonic Noise Protection
Two test stands for determining sound insulation in the frequency range above 5 kHz were made. One consisted of two horizontally adjacent reverberation rooms and a special source of high frequency sounds and ultrasound...
Parametric Study for Wire Cut Electrical Discharge Machining of Sintered Titanium
In 21st century, it has been observed that Wire Cut Electrical Discharge Machining (WEDM) has evolved as one of the most important non-traditional machining process. The popularity and its success lies because of its u...
Simple Planar Truss (Linear, Nonlinear and Stochastic Approach)
This article deals with a simple planar and statically determinate pin-connected truss. It demonstrates the processes and methods of derivations and solutions according to 1st and 2nd order theories. The article applies...
