Social Cohesion by Raising the Perception of Value in Inclusive Education

Abstract
Educational practices through inclusive; It is used to mean that the students who need special education are included in the education-teaching process in general education environments by making the necessary support and arrangements. The fact that students with special needs feel valued in the classroom environment affects their success in the education process. Students who feel valued in the classroom can socialize more easily, focus more on lessons and share their experiences more easily. This study was needed because it is thought that directing students to sports/artistic activities according to their interests, needs and strengths and sharing these experiences with their classmates will increase their perception of valence and social cohesion. The main purpose of the research is to reveal how the participation of students in sports/artistic activities affects their social adaptation. In this study, a single-subject quasi-experimental research method with pretest-posttest was used. The subjects of the research are students with special needs who continue their education at Ahmet Hocaoğlu Primary School in Mersin Mezitli district in the 2022-2023 academic year; It consists of 8 students who are in the role of bully in peer bullying and/or who are referred to the guidance service by their classroom teachers because they have social adaptation problems.
