In the research, questions were asked to the students about both vocational high school education and vocational school education retrospectively. According to the findings obtained in the research, the profile of the student attending the vocational school was determined. Accordingly, all of the 65 participating students are from vocational high schools. Of the 65 students, 34 were placed without an exam, and 31 with a YGS score. Participating students preferred vocational high school in order to have the most profession, at the request of their families, and because they would have difficulties in academic high schools. During their high school education, most of the students did not attend private teaching institutions.
