SOCIAL NETWORKS AND VIRTUAL REALITY: TWO SIDES OF THE SAME COIN

Abstract
Social networks and virtual reality have acquired great notoriety globally, since no one is unaware of their existence or dispenses with them. Human beings have a direct link with social networks every day, since these not only allow interaction, but also offer a range of options, such as the possibility of creating and managing a network of identities that are part of virtual realities originating from the same platform. Social networks have made possible the emergence of new sign fields that have modified, in one way or another, the relationships that, at the time, were protected in intimate or personal spaces. This, without a doubt, has brought drastic consequences, especially in the population youth. The interest of this study lies in the reflection on this social structure of the Internet, its scope, advantages and other relevant aspects.
