SOCIAL PROTECTION OF THE POPULATION IN UKRAINE: SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC NECESSITY AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The article reveals the essence and shows the social and economic necessity of social protection of the population in Ukraine. The main aspects of the development of the system of social protection of the population are considered. The local budgets for social protection of the population of Chernivtsi region are analyzed. The problems of social protection are outlined. The proposals for improvement of the social security system of the population are developed.
