SOCIAL WORKERS’ OCCUPATIONAL MOBILITY AS A PSYCHO-PEDAGOGICAL PROBLEM

Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to in finding out the nature of theoretical provisions of social workers’ occupational mobility formation as a modern psycho-pedagogical problem. A person is not mobile by nature, moreover, he/she cannot get mobility without efforts. If the formation of occupational mobility does not become a top quality for the majority of working population, the government, which is usually responsible for solving common problems, should create conditions to encourage manifestation steps driving to motivate society (especially the youth) to become mobile. The aim of professional training is to educate a professional and mobile social worker, willing to work in a state of uncertainty and unpredictability of modern risk society; capable of self-development, self-education and self-improvement. The defining characteristics of modern professional are non-standard thinking and actions, independence, occupational mobility, efficiency in solving different professional and everyday problems, ability to develop professionally. The psychological aspect of occupational mobility explains this phenomenon as a mechanism of social adaptation, enabling a professional to manage his/her subjectivity and professional conduct. Socio-economic sciences define mobility according to the nature of mobility processes being conducted. At the same time, the pedagogy investigates the problem of forming personal mobility which is an essential characteristic of a good specialist.
