SONNETS ON TWO RHYMES BY OLEKSA RIZNYKIV (from the Book "Dvostrune Gralo")

Abstract
The article considers the main features of the camps sonnets as the "authentic-Ukrainian phenomenon", reasonably non-random selection of sonnets forms by poets-prisoners. The author explores the camp sonnets by O. Riznykiv from the book "Dvostrune gralo" that have not been the object of special consideration yet. The subject of the research is the individual stylistic and compositional things of the sonnets by O. Riznykiv. The aim of this work is find out the essence of sonnets heritage by the author-prisoner, to determine the peculiarities of the sonnets on two rhymes. It investigates the origin of the sonnets thinking by O. Riznykiv and reveals the genre features of the sonnets on two rhymes. It analyzes the sonnets themes, their structure, the meters and the rhymes types. It defines the innovation made by the artist and the sonnets value for the Ukrainian poetry. It is noted that most of the sonnets by O. Riznykiv a deeply intimate and are of psychological character. The author-prisoner reveals his emotional state through the appeal to an imaginary interlocutor. O. Riznykiv expands the poetic vocabulary through idioms, compound words, words-twins, onerhyming words, that distinguishes them from classical sonnets, forms a unique author style. The results of the study show: the sonnets on two rhymes by O. Riznykiv emphasize the dialectical essence the sonnet forms, reproduce the dual nature of the poet-prisoner life, help to reveal his inner state, intimate and public experiences, aspirations and dreams, emphasize the tragic life of a creative person in jail.
