SPECIAL ARTISTIC EVENTS AS AN INSTRUMENT OF INFLUENCE ON SOCIAL AND INDIVIDUAL CONSCIOUSNESS

Abstract
The author reveals the prerequisites for the origin and development of special artistic events in the contemporary sociocultural space. The paper unfolds that a special artistic event is one of the most effective tools of active influencing of all facets of the society (cultural, economic, political, social, spiritual). Special artistic event is a mechanism for the formation of collective and individual identity. It has been determined that special artistic event has a psychotherapeutic effect aimed at changing and constructing individual and group consciousness. The paper studies the value of emotional influence as part of a special artistic event. It is claimed that through a special artistic event new or already existing group symbols are introduced, represented, reloaded; interactions are constructed, with the help of which the previously introduced corporate characters are supported; the unity of the team, an affiliation with group goals and tasks are con- firmed. In the course of a special artistic event values and contents are formed or represented, to maintain their viability in everyday life, it is necessary to provide ritual for everyday events. The tasks of the political special artistic event are to “recharge” elements of the collective consciousness that are essential to the society. Having analysed the influence of the “special artistic events” on the individual and public consciousness, it can be determined that due to the introduction of a special artistic event of a single and meaningful system of values for all members of the society, individuals can feel belonging to the society in which they exist. It is special artistic events which can support and implement social norms, values, ideals, represent national ideas and traditions that are historically inherent in one or another nation. Special artistic events create a powerful channel of communication between society and social institutions. Special artistic events are essential to the development and popularization of corporate cultures, the creation of a brand image, the sale of goods and services, the creation of a reputation of an individual, etc. That is why, the number of special artistic events that take place in the contemporary sociocultural space is increasing day by day. Consequently, a special artistic event arises as a response to the needs of the contemporary information society and is an effective tool for active influencing of social and individual consciousness.
