Periodization and development of domestic vocational education’s formation: historiography of the problem

Abstract
The article attempts to characterize the historiography of the problem of periodization of the domestic vocational education’s development. It is proved that the degree of research of the periodization of the vocational education’s development in Ukraine can be considered within the following periods: 1) from the second half of the 19th century to 1917, which is characterized by attention to lower vocational education, in particular, the organization of educational process in professional educational institutions; 2) from 1917 to 1991, characterized by works that comprehensively reveal the development of vocational
