PECULIARITIES OF THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE TRAINING OF THE LAWYERS IN THE UNIVERSITIES OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIK OF GERMANY

Abstract
The article describes the experience of using information and communication technologies in foreign language train- ing of law specialists in all three cycles of higher education in the universities of the Federal Republic of Germany. There is carried out a review of the information technologies that are used as a means of intensifying foreign language train- ing law students, including implementation of on-line tests, participation in Web conferences using the software Adobe Acrobat Connect, using podcasts for learning foreign languages, reading on-line versions of newspapers and magazines. There are given a title and short description of English-language master's and doctoral programs in law currently in use at leading German universities. There is given he list of certificates, which confirm the level of language proficiency for training in a certain cycle of education. The names and descriptions of the activities of the organizations involved in the training of top-level lawyers in the Federal Republic of Germany are described, and quantified figures for third cycle higher education graduates and their employment in other countries of the world are highlighted.
