Journal Title: Актуальні питання гуманітарних наук: Міжвузівський збірник наукових праць молодих вчених Дрогобицького державного педагогічного університету - Year 2018, Vol 20, Issue 1
Abstract
In the modern world, the number and variety of artistic events is constantly growing. Music festivals are one of the most attractive ways to unite large audiences of people of the most diverse professions and tastes. Festival-competition movement is not only a way of mass influence on people, not only a source of preservation of traditions and the emergence of new trends in musical art, but also the territory of education of new tastes and ideals. The festival-competition movement is being studied in the art-study aspect by K. Davydovsky, O. Zuyev, A.Piskach, G. Chroma, M. Shved and many other researchers, but considerable educational and educational potential of festival-competition activity is still beyond the scope of scien- tific attention. Modern studies by L. Arzhanchikova, L. Nadirova, O. Oleksyuk, G. Padalka, O. Rudnitska, G. Shevchenko, S. Sbitneva emphasize radically new demands of society concerning music education, which puts the artistic and creative development of the personality of the future teacher of musical art as the basis of his professional growth. The lack of a comprehensive study of the festival-competition movement of Ukraine in parallel with the development of foreign art and the projection of the formation of the musical and aesthetic culture of a young teacher of musical art is a major impetus in the choice of the topic of research. Given the great interest of the younger generation in such artistic events, the problem of upbringing the musical and aesthetic culture of the future teacher of musical art can be solved in the process of involving it in festival-competition activities. The article investigates the development of the festival-competition movement in the evolution of foreign and Ukrain- ian musical art, examines the role of festival-competitive activities in the process of cultivating the musical and aesthetic culture of the participants, determines the possibility of creating an effective model of education of the musical and aesthetic culture of the future teacher of musical art by involving students of musical- pedagogical faculties to active festival-competition activity.
