Abstract
The article features the reasoning of tolerant attitude of students towards people of other nations and nationalities in the social and educational work of higher education. The problem of tolerance of young people to other cultures and their carriers disclosed in the context of ethnic tolerance students. It characterizes possibilities of higher education as a social and educational environment for the formation of ethnic tolerance of students. The essence and speci¿ cs of the formation of ethnic tolerance of students by means of extracurricular educational work.
