Specific Featuresofthe Legal Status of a Chair of a Department of Higher Education: Theoretical Aspects and Practical Problems

Abstract
Normative-and-legal principles of defining the concept and status of a chair of a department of an establishment of higher education of the III–IV levels of accreditation are analyzed, problems of practical combination of the post of a chair of a department and as a scientific-and-pedagogical worker are revealed in the paper. Suggestions for elimination of legal conflicts concerning regulation of the status of a chair of a department are formed in the paper.
