STAFF ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS IN TERMS OF TECHNOLOGICAL RENOVATION OF PRODUCTION AT AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES

Abstract
Purpose. The purpose of the article is to study the essential characteristics of staff in terms of technological renovation of production of agricultural enterprises. Methodology of research. In the process of research, general scientific methods were used, in particular generalization, systematization, induction, deduction, analysis, synthesis, abstraction. The methods were used for determining the essential, real and potential characteristics of the personnel in the aspect of technological renovation of agricultural enterprises. The information base of the research was made up of scientific works of domestic scientists-economists on the essence and characteristics of the personnel of agricultural enterprises in the context of their innovation development. Findings. The article substantiates the necessity of considering the personnel of the enterprise as a defining component and a condition for effective implementation of technological renovation of production, as well as an initiator of its implementation. The actual and potential components of the company’s personnel have been singled out. The actual component covers the existing, previously acquired knowledge and skills that are already used in practice, during the usual process of production activity. The potential component is all those knowledge and skills that can be developed in a person as a result of self-development (self-education) and investments made by the enterprise (professional training, professional development, etc.) and which are necessary in the process of technological renovation of production. The essential and important in his/her professional activity characteristics (components) of an employee have been determined. They are natural, social, and economic. The natural and economic components determine the employee’s ability to be an initiator and an organizer of the process of technological renovation of production or a performer of certain production functions. The social component means that the employee have to divide, understand and support the goals of the enterprise, in particular in relation to technological upgrading of production, as well as take an active part in their implementation. Only in the case of a harmonious combination and taking into account these characteristics productive labour of the personnel of the enterprise can be achieved. Originality. The scientific novelty of the obtained results consists in highlighting and theoretical substantiation of the essential characteristics of an employee and their role in the process of technological renovation of production in agricultural enterprises. Practical value. The obtained results of the research can be used for organizing the process of technological renovation of production in agricultural enterprises.
