Abstract

Adoption of the law of Ukraine "About Higher Education" (2014) causes the need in qualitative renewal of the system of higher pedagogical education in the country. It is done according to the European standards, rise of the level of professional preparation of the prospective teachers, in particular, primary school teachers. Gradually, the transition from the four grades (junior specialist, bachelor, and specialist, master) to the two grade (bachelor, master) pedagogical education of the prospective primary school teachers should be done. Strategic goal of preparation of the prospective primary school teachers is training the teacher-researcher, ready for projection, innovations and creative activity. That is why the study of the students' readiness level of Master course to conducting pedagogical researches, finding difficulties and drawbacks will help to improve the content, methods and forms of the mentioned preparation according to the new demands. The analysis of the students' state readiness of Master course to conducting pedagogical researches has been conducted during 2014-2015 on the base of Khmelnitsky Humanitarian-Pedagogical Academy and Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. We conducted intramural students' questioning of Master Course and correspondence course of study. The questioning was conducted according to the logics of the research and contained such blocks of indices, which characterized the level of professional readiness of the prospective teachers as researchers: discovering the level of readiness of professional qualities; determination of the level of readiness of pedagogical skills as for the specificity of the research function of the primary school teacher; finding the level of readiness to conducting pedagogical researches. The results of the questioning helped to determine the drawbacks in contextual and operation-occupational components of preparation to conducting pedagogical researches and to come to the conclusion about the necessity of improving the mentioned preparation.
