Journal Title: Pielęgniarstwo w Stanach Nagłych - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 2
Abstract
Stress in nursing staff accounts for their severe mental and physical strain. It can lead to occupational burnout, lower the quality of care and disenable work, which can contribute to mental disorders. Medical personnel working at intensive care and emergency units are particularly exposed to stress situations, which occur often on account of the suffering and death of patients.
