STUDY ON THE FINANCING OF THE MUNICIPAL WASTE MANAGEMENT

Abstract
The objective of this study is firstly, to explain the main activities of the municipal waste management and secondly, to analyze the current situation of the municipal waste in Romania and other countries of the EU. There is a common basic principle for their management: municipal waste shall be managed in a manner that protects human health and the environment, now and in the future without imposing undue burdens on future generations.
