WATER RESOURCES AND ASPECTS OF WATER QUALITY

Abstract
Society is a product of the natural environment. Climate change is increasingly affecting the activities of people, people's lives. The frequency with which they manifest themselves requires greater attention to this phenomenon. One of the water roles is given by sustaining of live as well as by the operation of the biosphere. Water management, as well as increasing and preserving its quality, are the subject of permanent discussions. From this point of view, the article analyzes aspects related to water quality. Issues related to environmental degradation influence natural ecosystems and have a negative impact on health. Pollution has direct effects on ecosystems and biodiversity. Human society is dependent on water ecosystems. Access to good quality water allows the development of conditions conducive to the development of life. Issues related to water management are also being addressed in Romania. Thus, the article presents the situation of Romania's water resources.
