Studying the productivity of Devil in the bush species depending on the farming practices of cultivation in the South of Ukraine

Abstract
The plant Devil in the bush (Nigella sativa L.) is used as a medicinal plant for treating more than 20 diseases, and in cooking as a spicy plant, it is also used for souring vegetables and for flavoring confectionery. So its practical value is obvious. The South of Ukraine and the Kherson region has many advantages and potential opportunities for cultivating this culture both the natural and climatic conditions and the soil characteristics and the economic and organizational perspectives of the cultivation of this culture. But this issue has not been researched fully yet and today there are no clear recommendations on the crop production practices of Devil in the bush in the South of Ukraine.
