Abstract
In this paper, the issues of legal support for the human right to search, receive and transmit information are considered. Its turnover concerns any spheres of life, both physical and legal persons, the state. Information permeates all areas of activity of these entities. The aspects of realization of various roles of subjects of information relations are analyzed, often rather complex connections between them are investigated, the order of fixation of these interactions by the state in the form of guaranteed information rights and freedoms is considered. Attention is paid to highlighting the shortcomings of the legal protection of these rights.
