SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGION AND THE MAIN TOOLS FOR ITS PROVISION

Abstract
The features of sustainable development of the region are determined and the necessity of integrated and systematic use of the tools for its provision is substantiated. The main differences between traditional and other models of economy are considered. It is stressed that the traditional brown economy, in conditions of exhaustion of natural resources, can not act as the only instrument for achieving sustainable development of the region.
