Text to Speech Conversion with Phonematic Concatenation
Journal Title: International Journal of Electronics Communication and Computer Technology - Year 2012, Vol 2, Issue 5
Abstract
This paper presents a method to design a Text to Speech conversion module by the use of Matlab by simple matrix operations. Firstly by the use of microphone some similar sounding words are recorded using a record program in the Matlab window and recorded sounds are saved in .wav format in the directory. The recorded sounds are then sampled and the sampled values are taken and separated into their constituent phonetics. The separated syllables are then concatenated to reconstruct the desired words. By the use of various Matlab commands i.e. wavread, subplot etc. the waves are sampled and extracted to get the desired result. This method is simple to implement and involves much lesser use of memory spaces.

Analysis of Extremely Low VSWR Characteristics of Feed Network of Rectangular Microstrip Patch Antenna
This paper describes extremely low VSWR characteristics of coaxial and microstrip feed networks for slotloaded rectangular microstrip patch antennas. Both Inset feed and coaxial feed from the ground plane are considere...
Reversible Multiplier with Peres Gate and Full Adder
Low Power dissipation and smaller area are one of the important factors while designing multipliers for digital circuits. As multipliers used in digital circuits dissipate large amount of heat whenever there is a tran...
Modified Microstrip Antenna with Defected Ground
In this paper a novel rectangular microstrip antenna is presented. Proposed design is employing a modified structure of microstrip antenna with defected ground structure (DGS) to perform over a large return loss. In t...
