The activation of collective memory as a basis for current resistance

Abstract
This work exposes the results of an activation workshop of the collective memory carried out in the Andalgalá locality, province of Catamarca (northwestern Argentina), in July 2017. As a proposal within the qualitative critical methodologies (Torres Carrillo, 2014), we will concentrate in narrating this experience that favored the circulation of the word. From there we approach the different ways in which they compete, represent, experience and imagine their place. Also, with this field work we tried to show those local memories base of the current resistance, giving an account of how the territory is marked and signified by those memories. Finally, we aspire to contribute to strengthening the society-academy link through these spaces of dialogue that foster the exchange of experiences and the recovery of collective memory.
