THE ANALYSIS OF STUDENTS’ VIEWS ON CONSCIOUS PARENTHOOD

Abstract
The article reveals the problem of the formation of preparedness for the conscious parenthood of future psychologists. The results of the study of their views on this issue were set out. The results of a survey of 170 students from the first to the fifth year are given. The results of the study are presented taking into account the course and gender. It was established that the dominate majority of respondents, regardless of the course of study and gender, consider conducting a special course on this topic necessary and support the importance of holding it before the birth of the first child. It was found out that these views do not affect to your own desire to participate in the special course. The diagnostic results showed that only a small percentage of psychology students surveyed showed a desire to be trained in the formation of readiness for conscious parenting. This figure is especially low for young men. It has been proved that a large number of respondents did not decide to participate in the special course, but they have an interest in this topic. It has been established that the addition of certain motivational factors increases the motivation of future psychologists to participate in the special course. There are two such factors. The first factor is related to the students’ professional interest. The second factor is related to the content of the proposed program. A program that takes into account a wider area of relationships than communicating with children is more interesting for future psychologists. It is very important that received knowledge and skills were useful both in communicating with children, in communication with parents, and in the field of female-male relations. According to the answers of the respondents, these factors significantly increase their motivation to participate in the special course.
