The best model of teaching information compression

Abstract
Currency of use of teaching information “compression” models is shown on the example of studying the higher mathematics course. Tutorials on the higher mathematics containing mod-els of teaching information “compression” (tables and meta-plans) are examined. The results of investigation on revealing the model of mathematical information “compression”, which in students’ opinion is the best, are demonstrated. The questionnaire results and statistical data on independent drawing up of models by students are given. New models such as compendia-pictures and compendia-pictograms developed by students are considered.
