THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE STRUCTURE OF READINESS OF FUTURE SOCIAL SPHERE SPECIALISTS TO CONFLICT RESOLUTION

Abstract

The scientists’ approaches to the essence of scientific definition of «readiness» are described in the article. In particular, it was found that readiness is an important precondition for professional activity of future specialists. In general meaning readiness is a personal integral formation that includes motivational, volitional, emotional, cognitive, personal and operational components that are required to perform a certain professional activity. The readiness of future social sphere specialists to conflict resolution is characterized by awareness of the need to achieve a certain result, availability of theoretical knowledge, formed practical action concerning specific activities, is based on an assessment of their own opportunities and the development of personal qualities and traits of character. The article aims to reveal the content of the components of future social sphere specialists’ readiness to conflict resolution in their professional activity. It was found out that in the content of readiness it was advisable to distinguish motivational, cognitive, and personal component. Motivational component includes motives, goals, needs, values and motivate to mastering the effective ways for achieving a high level of readiness to conflict resolution based on internal motives. The cognitive component includes a set of scientific and theoretical knowledge in the field of general, social conflictology and the theory of organisation of negotiations. Practical component includes practical skills to conflict resolution that arise during the future social sphere specialist’s activity as a mediator. Personal component reflects the existing system of personal qualities and character traits, allows to control consciously the results of your activity and realize the level of your own development and personal achievements. Methodological principles of the research of the structure of readiness are based on diagnostic targeting, implementation of pedagogical innovations in the organization of professional training of future social sphere specialists in disciplines which are aimed at conflictological areas. It was found out that the appropriate level of readiness to professional conflict resolution regulates professional activity of social sphere specialists and determines their professionalism and professional competence.
