Abstract
In this article, the critics and polemics between Nurullah Ataç and Necip Fazıl Kısakürek will be discussed. One is the prominent poet of the period; the other is the first name that comes to mind in the field of poetry criticism. Their criticisms and polemics towards each other seem interesting. In this article, as their writings in the center of this paper, it will be opened to debate the features of criticism and polemics between them and will be discussed the meaning of this criticism and polemics in terms of poetry art and criticism. In this way, it will be tried to evaluate the positive or negative contribution of Necip Fazıl and Nurullah Ataç to the world of literature in the light of the sentences emerging from their writings about each other.
