THE COMPARISON OF FAMILY FUNCTIONS AND OCCUPATIONAL PERFORMANCE LEVELS OF TEACHERS

Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğretmenlerin aile işlevleri ile mesleki performans düzeylerinin karşılaştırılmasıdır. Araştırma İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim Üniversitesinde eğitim yönetimi ve denetimi yüksek lisans öğrenimi gören öğretmenlerle gerçekleştirilmiş nicel bir çalışmadır. Veri toplamada “Aile Değerlendirme Ölçeği”, “Meslek Performans Ölçeği” ve demografik bilgileri elde etmek için anket kullanılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin aile değerlendirme alt ölçeklerinden olan iletişim, roller, duygusal tepki verme, gereken ilgiyi gösterme, davranış kontrolü, problem çözme ve genel işlevler ile öğretmenlerin mesleki performansları arasındaki ilişki düzeyleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin demografik nitelikleri, çalışma durumları, aile ilişkileri, çocuk sayıları, çocuk bakımı ile ilgili bilgileri gibi konularda ortak noktalar da belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu araştırmada elde edilen tüm veriler, SPSS 16.0 istatistik paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. İletişim, Roller, Duygusal Tepki Verme, Gereken İlgiyi Gösterme, Davranış Kontrolü, Problem Çözme ve Genel İşlevler” değişkenleri ile öğretmenlerin iş performansları anlamlı ilişkiler göstermektedir. Davranış Kontrolü ve Problem Çözmenin” iş performans düzeyinin anlamlı bir yordayıcısı olduğu belirlenmiştir.
