THE COMPOSITION OF IZMAIL MUNICIPAL AND EXECUTIVE COUNCIL AND ITS ACTIVITIES IN THE TRADE SECTOR IN 1878–1917

Abstract
The article is devoted to the composition of the municipal government organs and Izmail government activities in the trade industry area. In the article we analyze the composition of Izmail municipal and executive Council and its activities in the trade sector of 1878–1917 in details. We give the names of mayors, who were the heads of the municipality and the municipal Council in 1882–1888, 1893–1899, 1901–1903, 1907, 1911, 1914–1916 years, their ranks, grades, deputies, secretaries. We give the composition of the Izmail municipal and executive Council in 1882, 1883, 1885, 1888, 1893, 1897, 1899, 1901–1903, 1907, 1914, 1916 years. We list the positions of Izmail city municipal Council: Secretary, Treasurer, accountant, the inspector of the meeting, the head of the cases of conscription and passport offices, the Registrar and archivist, veterinarian, head of urban massacre, city smallpox vaccination doctor, city water supply inspector. We analyze and provide stringent regulations, issued by Izmail municipal Council and claimed by the Bessarabian Governor regulating trade in the city of Ismail in 1878–1917. We give the content of compulsory regulations of Izmail municipal Council about the meat shops trading, also on holidays and weekends, in the city. We display three regulation about the provision of normal rest for the employees in retail establishments, warehouses and offices; about the structure of the beer store; about the time of trading in the tavern and tea establishments, beer stores and wine cellars on weekends and major holidays.
