The concept, essence and legal regulation of the methodology for evaluating the activity of the police in Ukraine.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the methodology of assessing the activities of the police. The concept of “method of evaluation” and “methodology of evaluation” are defined. The main approaches to the classification of methods used in the evaluation of police activity are analyzed and characterized, their characteristics are singled out. Particular attention is paid to the issue of legal regulation of the methodology for assessing the activities of the police.
