THE CONCEPT OF MIGRATION AND MIGRATION PROCESSES IN MODERN SCIENTIFIC CONCEPTS

Abstract
he article deals with migration processes and migration in Ukraine. It is substantiated that migratory movements are a kind of indicator of the population's reaction to changes in the economic, political, social life of society. It has been determined that the amounts, directions and scope of such movements to some extent indicate a threat to sustainable development of the state. Obligations of the state to provide control and super- vision of migration processes are emphasized, but it should take into account the basic rights and freedoms of man and citizen. To ensure this process, measures are proposed to rethink theoretical approaches to the definition of the concept of migration and migration processes.
